Confusion Matrix

[ kuhn-fyoo-zhuhn mey-triks]
noun

A confusion matrix is a table that compares a classification model's predictions with the actual answers, showing correct predictions and each type of error. It is used to calculate accuracy, precision and recall.

Why it matters in customer experience

Confusion matrices show which intents or document types a model mixes up, for example confusing a claim status request with a new claim. In regulated industries this helps teams decide where to require human review.
